TKO IN TOKYO
Waddled over to Tokyo a few moons ago for a subtle mixture of work and pleasure. Needless to say, the end concoction was nothing short of wondrous with a tasty red cherry on top.
First off, let's get down to business spelled with a trick and a handful of treats. This year I decided to go as the sexiest duck on the face of the planet. That might be a subjective point of view, but the picture above is proof that ducks are hot in more ways than one. Sizzling hot.
One thing is for sure, I was sweating bullets in that gloriously golden duck costume. I definitely felt more comfy in my Minnie Mouse get up last year.
If you need further proof of a duck's hotness, then compare the sexiness divide between a duck and a frog. As you can see below, the divide is more of a Grand Canyon than just a crack in the road. Obviously, the hotness is in favor of ducks.
Sorry Jason!
For more Tokyo Halloween tomfoolery, check out Phil-G's coverage of the Colette Halloween extravaganza.
When I'm in Tokyo, it's a must to meet up with my good painter buddy James Jack.
Aside from being a bad ass mofo, James has been painting and working non stop in the city of Tokyo for a good solid year now. One of his many projects is this insane site specific installation he did with the Ueno Town Art Museum.
The piece below was done entirely out of red dirt. Cavity-inducingly sweet!
Swoon also did some installation work for the Ueno Town Art museum. All I gotta say is, "WOW!"
We met up with James, Swoon, and other folk for some good talk over tea, coffee, and tasty treats.
Later we stopped by John and Ryan's bar called Kinfolk to get a bit of Texas Hold-em. I'm probably the worst poker player in the history of cards, so there was no doubt in my mind that I'd lose all my clothes first. Oh, did I mention it was strip poker?
Just kidding. It was only my dignity that was stripped away, as I lost four thousand yen to this guy.
Markus bamboozled us all!
Stay tuned for the next post, because I'll show ya even more Tokyo visual stimuli!
